Non-Personal Information
In some cases, we may collect information about your online access to our Site by automated means, such as cookies and web beacons. A “cookie” is a text file that websites send to a user’s computer or other Internet-connected device to uniquely identify the user’s browser or to store information or settings in the browser. A “web beacon,” also known as an Internet tag, pixel tag or clear GIF, is used to transmit information back to a web server. Information we collect using automated means may include, for example, your IP address, the domain name of the website or the advertisement which referred you to our Site (for example, google.com, if you connected to our Site from a Google search), information on actions you take on our website, dates and times of your visits to our website, and whether marketing emails have been received and read. This information is used solely for internal review of the use of our Site and services and is not shared with other organizations for commercial purposes.

Information We Share
In order to improve our business, we may buy or sell a company, or one or more of the companies in our corporate family may merge with or be acquired by another company. If we sell a business, we may transfer some or all of your Personal Information as a part of the sale. In the event we transfer any of your Personal Information in connection with such a sale, we will post a notice on our Site and we will make reasonable efforts to ensure that the purchaser treats your Personal Information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and honors your opt-out requests, if any.

We may transfer your Personal Information to our contractors, service providers and other third parties we use to support our business and who are bound by contractual obligations to keep Personal Information confidential and use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them. We may also use or disclose your Personal Information without your consent when we are permitted by Canadian law to do so or when we believe it is necessary and appropriate to comply with applicable laws, court orders, subpoenas or other legal requirements. Lastly, we may use or disclose your Personal Information to protect the rights, property or safety of Node, our employees, customers, website visitors, or others, such as in the course of an investigation into potentially fraudulent or other illegal activities or where a contract between us and a third party is being breached.

Other than as set forth above, we will not share or sell your Personal Information to any outside organization without your written or electronically-indicated consent.
